At FoldSpace Canada, we stand behind the quality of our wall-mounted folding desks. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 30-day return period from the date of delivery for unused products in original packaging.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
- Unused and in the same condition as received
- In original packaging with all components and hardware
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
- Not installed or mounted on walls
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-made or personalized desks
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper installation
- Items without original packaging or missing components
- Products returned after 30 days from delivery
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team at returns@foldspace.ca within 30 days of delivery
- Provide your order number and reason for return
- Receive your Return Authorization (RA) number
- Carefully package the item in its original packaging
- Include all components, hardware, and instructions
- Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package
- Ship the item to the address provided by our team
3. Return Shipping Costs
- Defective or Wrong Items: We cover all return shipping costs
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Refused Delivery: Original shipping charges will not be refunded
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items.
4. Refund Processing
Inspection
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds
If approved, your refund will be processed according to the following timeline:
- Refund initiated within 5 business days of receiving the return
- Credited to your original payment method
- May take 5-10 business days to appear in your account
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (except for defective items)
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted for:
- Items not in original condition or damaged
- Items missing parts or packaging
- Items returned after 30 days but within 60 days
5. Exchanges
We accept exchanges for the same item in a different size, color, or model. To exchange an item:
- Follow the return process outlined above
- Indicate in your return request that you want an exchange
- Specify the desired replacement product
- We will ship the replacement once we receive and approve the return
If there is a price difference, we will either charge or refund the difference accordingly.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately at support@foldspace.ca
- Provide photos of the damage or defect
- Include your order number
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund
- We will cover all shipping costs for damaged or defective returns
Inspection Period
Please inspect your item upon delivery. Claims for damaged or defective items must be made within 7 days of delivery.
7. Wrong Item Shipped
If we ship the wrong item:
- We will arrange for pickup of the incorrect item at no cost to you
- Ship the correct item immediately
- Cover all associated shipping costs
8. Cancelled Orders
Before Shipment
Orders can be cancelled before shipment for a full refund. Contact us as soon as possible at orders@foldspace.ca.
After Shipment
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You will need to follow our standard return process upon delivery.
9. Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:
- Credit Card: 5-10 business days
- Debit Card: 5-10 business days
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
10. Installation Issues
Products that have been installed or mounted cannot be returned unless defective. Before installation:
- Carefully inspect all components
- Verify all hardware is included
- Review installation instructions
- Test the folding mechanism
If you discover an issue after opening but before installation, contact us immediately.
11. Restocking Fees
FoldSpace Canada does not charge restocking fees for standard returns that meet our eligibility criteria.
12. Provincial Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Canadian consumer protection laws. If you are located in a province with additional consumer protection, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
